Myth or Fact? Making Sense of Taste and Smell: Public Outreach Event

Friday, May 7th and Saturday, May 8th

Organized in collaboration with members of the Association for Chemoreception Sciences (AChemS).

Who can participate?English, Spanish, Italian, French, Japanese and Chinese speakers from 5 to 99+ years old
What do I need? Internet connection, sugar, salt, lemon, chicken (or meat) bouillon cube, instant coffee, cotton swabs, water, peppermint, banana and strawberry extracts, green, yellow and red food colorings, small balls of cotton and small transparent plastic bags.

Do you want to learn more about smell and taste? Please visit AChemS Education Corner. There you will find exciting demonstrations and exercises about smell and taste. While most of these activities have been developed with school-aged children in mind, they can be adjusted to any age.
